Important 2019-2020 Scout Year Updates

Troop 39 Trip Payment Policy Update

  •  No scouts will be able to attend monthly trips without full and confirmed payment 9 days prior to the trip.
  • All interested scouts and parents must sign up for trips using the scout store.  Various payment methods are available, including option to use scout accounts. This includes trips with "0" expense.
  • Please be sure to include the scout's name in the notes section of all orders.  This will ensure proper accounting and credit applied to correct scout/family.  

Payment Information
  • Credit Card: Payment will be immediately charged to the card you use, and no refunds will be processed.
  • Scout Account: Please only select if you know your balance can cover the costs.  If you are unsure, please contact the appropriate volunteer for your balance.  If you do not have enough in your scout account, you will receive a bill in the mail which must be paid in full 3 days prior to the trip.
  • Check: Only accepted if cleared through an official troop leader, and check must be cleared 10 days prior to the event.

Mulch Job Info - PROPOSED NEW PROCEDURES/RULES
  • All mulch jobs will be paid for with a credit card in 2020, exceptions can be made, but cleared first.
  • Leaders of jobs must submit an appropriate legible handwritten or electronic time sheet of attendees and hours.
  • No scouts are to be responsible for collection of funds, only adult leaders; this includes getting checks to the appropriate accounting staff upon pre-approved use of check.
